The Origin Story

In the year 2024, amidst the cacophony of Black Friday sales and the endless scroll of social commerce, a small collective of developers and amateur occultists found themselves drowning in stuff. We realized that the "Buy Now" button had become a reflex, bypassed the conscious mind entirely.

Splurge Arcana was forged in this crucible of excess. We asked ourselves: "What if checking out required as much intention as casting a spell?"

Our Philosophy

We exist at the strange intersection of ancient mysticism and modern behavioral economics. Our core belief is that money is stored energy. How you release that energy shapes your reality.

The tools on this site—from the Merchant's Tarot to the Impulse Specter—are designed to introduce friction. In User Experience (UX) design, friction is usually the enemy. But for your wallet, friction is a savior.
